Some people stop drinking for a while and they think they are cured. Then life shows up and their feelings get trampled on or something and they drink again.
Alcoholism and addiction are one and the same do not be confused about this a drug is a drug. Many old timers in AA do not see it this way they are old school.
This type of thinking is what I refer to as alcoholwasim. With alcoholism there is no cure however the disease can be arrested and recovery is then possible.
Well at this point you may be saying how do I stop drinking and recover. It is really quite simple don't drink and go to meetings get a sponsor and start living life.
