How to quit Drinking I can tell you from experience you can not help anyone quit drinking they have to have the desire to stop drinking without this it is futile.
The old saying you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink holds true here also for alcoholics.
What the person with the drinking problem needs to do is get a relationship with a higher power if they want to learn how to quit drinking.
I would suggest God because that is who I use. I guess it does not matter as long as the person realizes this power is greater than themselves.
This being said once again I will stress the importance of AA meetings and addiction therapy the most important thing is to quit Drinking.
