Drug addiction therapy

First of all I am not here to argue whether alcoholism is a disease or not; however, belief is that alcoholism is a disease of the mind. Whether it is hereditary or not I am not sure but it is quite possible but yet to be proven. Anyway I am here to help others recover from alcohol or drugs.

Do you want help with your drinking problem here are some How to Stop Drinking.
If the answer is yes then you have came to the right place. First of all I will not share with you anything I have not done or willing to do.

First thing is you have to put the plug in the jug. Next you want to go to an AA or NA meeting. You will probably be a bit uncomfortable or feel a bit out of place don't worry it's quite natural.

Many alcoholics have been in shoes and have felt the same way so relax and listen to the message. I don't think you need to worry about sharing right away that will come in due time.

Alcoholism Help 6Tips to stop drinking

The road to getting sober.

1. Number one is go to an AA or Na meeting.

This will get you out of the house and around others like yourself. It is not good to be alone to long
when we first quit drinking.

2. Introduce yourself to three people at the meeting.

We need to learn how associate with other alcoholics.
3. Get some phone numbers from other members and use them.

It is very important to use these numbers we never know when we may have the desire to use and if we have numbers we can call someone.

4. Go for coffee after the meeting.

We must take action and associating ourselves with others in recovery is a must. In doing this we will come to find that we are not alone.

5. If you happened to hear someone you could relate to ask them to be your sponsor. We need guidance in our recovery.

It is important that whom ever you choose has a minimum of two years sober.

What I would do first is find a treatment center near me and give them a call to find out about whether they except your insurance or if you do not have any whether they will except Medicaid most will. Then make arrangement's to get into alcohol rehab.

Now once you get in depending on how long you have have had a drinking problem you may want to consider an alcohol detox because alcohol withdrawal can be fatal when a person suddenly stops drinking.
