Hydrocodone Addiction

First of all if you are addicted to hydrocodone you have one atrocious habit on your hands.

In my opinion it is just as nasty as an addiction to heroin. Furthermore it is bombarding the United States at an alarming rate.

The problem is that it is very addicting and it seems our youth have taking a liking to this drug. Therefore many of them found themselves with a hydrocodone addcition.

This is not as crazy as what it seems. They have learned about how this drug helps them feel powerful and able to believe they can excel in things such as sports and academics as well as be the life of the party.

One reason hydrocodone addiction is so prevalent is that it is very easy for them to obtain. All they have to do to score it is raid their parents medicine chest and get some lortab.

It is my recommendation that anyone with prescription drugs put them under lock and key.

This will help but it will not entirely solve this epidemic of addiction. If your child does have a drug problem try to encourage them to get help.

I thing you could do is suggest NA meetings this has worked wonders for many addicts and you should have no problem finding a meeting for them to go to being that NA is a world wide organization.

If this does not work for them then send them to hydrocodone treatment I have gone to long term treatment myself and I can not tell you how it changed my life.

The main thing is do not give up on them they did not give up on me and I am extremely grateful for that because I was able to beat my hydrocodone addiction and I am drug free today because of it.

alcohol blackout

An alcohol blackout is an unforeseen event which is caused by the admission of alcohol in which long term memory gets impaired.

Blackouts are thought to be similar to what is know as amnesia don't get this confused with passing out because it is entirely different.

It is widely believed that alcohol blackouts from drinking are a good predictor of alcoholism. The founder of AA Bill Wilson also believed this to be true.

Quite often blackouts are thought to correlate with drinking large amounts of alcohol. Research has found that blackouts often occur when the blood alcohol concentration has been increased rapidly.

I know college students are fond of playing games to see who can down the most liquor. Sometimes they even hold a funnel to the participants mouth and pour liquor into .

This is very dangerous do not attempt this many people have died from alcohol overdose doing this.

I know for sure that if you drink and take valium this will increase the odds of having an alcohol black out.

I know I have had more alcohol blackouts from drinking than I can count. I have lost my car been thrown in jail and did not remember a thing.

If you get to this point You might want to look into getting some help at an alcohol treatment center.

How about this scenario what if you actually killed someone in a alcohol blackout. Then you were arrested for murder and could not remember ever driving the car.

There are a lot of people doing life in prison that can not remember what they did to get there you can avoid letting this happen to you stop drinking today!!

If you are having a lot of alcoholism blackouts maybe you need some help to stop drinking. I would recommended going to AA meetings.

Here is a no brainier if you do not drink alcohol you will not have to worry about alcoholic blackouts.
