Hydrocodone Addiction

First of all if you are addicted to hydrocodone you have one atrocious habit on your hands.

In my opinion it is just as nasty as an addiction to heroin. Furthermore it is bombarding the United States at an alarming rate.

The problem is that it is very addicting and it seems our youth have taking a liking to this drug. Therefore many of them found themselves with a hydrocodone addcition.

This is not as crazy as what it seems. They have learned about how this drug helps them feel powerful and able to believe they can excel in things such as sports and academics as well as be the life of the party.

One reason hydrocodone addiction is so prevalent is that it is very easy for them to obtain. All they have to do to score it is raid their parents medicine chest and get some lortab.

It is my recommendation that anyone with prescription drugs put them under lock and key.

This will help but it will not entirely solve this epidemic of addiction. If your child does have a drug problem try to encourage them to get help.

I thing you could do is suggest NA meetings this has worked wonders for many addicts and you should have no problem finding a meeting for them to go to being that NA is a world wide organization.

If this does not work for them then send them to hydrocodone treatment I have gone to long term treatment myself and I can not tell you how it changed my life.

The main thing is do not give up on them they did not give up on me and I am extremely grateful for that because I was able to beat my hydrocodone addiction and I am drug free today because of it.
